V7 — latest
13 July 2026
- New HTTP API: read and write whole maps programmatically with a token, so scripts, game engines and procedural tools can automate your worlds — no browser needed.
- Generate, reveal and disable your API token right from the Settings page; the API stays off until you create one.
- List, read, create, replace, rename, duplicate and delete maps over simple REST endpoints under
/api/v1.
- A full API reference with curl and Unity examples, in all seven languages.
V6
4 July 2026
- New terrain elevation sculpting: raise, lower, smooth and flatten the ground to build hills, valleys and mountains right on your map.
- Cliffs, terraces and ramps, for sheer drops, stepped plateaus and walkable slopes between two heights.
- A soft round brush with adjustable strength, plus one-click smooth and erode passes for natural-looking slopes.
- Live hillshade and contour shading so you can see the terrain as you sculpt, with a height readout and an eyedropper to match levels.
V5
26 June 2026
- Freshly rebuilt single-file apps for Windows, macOS and Linux.
- Rolls up all of the recent storefront and app improvements into one download.
- Updated to the Node 22 runtime under the hood.
V4
June 2026
- Now free for everyone, any team size, commercial use included. Removed all paid tiers, checkout and license keys.
- Added a PayPal "Donate" option for anyone who wants to support the project.
